• Short-term disability
  • The program offers 60% of your base weekly pay beginning 15 or 30 days after your illness/disability. There is a maximum weekly benefit of $1,000.
• Long-term disability
  • The program offers several options that begin 90 days after you are disabled.

  • After one year of employment, KMSAPA will pay for the core level of LTD. The maximum monthly benefit is $10,000.
• Accidental Death and Dismemberment
  • Coverage options range from $25,000 to $500,000 for the employee, and predetermined percentages of the dollar value you elect for family coverage.
• Flex Account
  • The Health Care Account lets you reimburse yourself with pre-tax dollars for up to $5,000 each year for expenses not covered under any health care plans. The Dependant Day Care Account lets you reimburse yourself with pre-tax dollars for childcare expenses. You can contribute up to $5,000 per year.
• Paid Time Off
  • You accrue paid time off to cover illnesses, vacations, holidays, as well as other personal matters. The accrual rates are as follows:
    • 0-2 years of employment (8 hours per pay period)
    • 2-5 years of employment (8.62 hours per pay period)
    • 5-8 years of employment (8.93 hours per pay period)
    • 8-11 years of employment (9.24 hours per pay period)
    • 11-14 years of employment (9.85 hours per pay period)
    • 14-20 years of employment (10.16 hours per pay period)
  • As an example, you will accrue 26 days of PTO in your first year of employment, this also depends on hours actually worked.

For Dentists Only:

• Continuing Education - you will be reimbursed in an amount not to exceed $3,000 based on itemized expenses to cover the cost of dues, professional memberships, and registration fees.
• Relocation - The PA provides relocation assistance on an as needed basis. The PA will require submission of itemized expenses.
• Professional Liability - The PA provides professional liability insurance in the amount of $2 million/ $4 million
