| Philosophies of Care: My name is Dr. Dwight Bagley and I received my dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. I completed my post-doctoral training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where I specialized in fixed prosthodontics. I spent twenty-four years in the Army and my experiences include working as a Staff Prosthodontist, Laboratory Officer, and the Officer-in-Charge of the Pentagon Army Dental Clinic. After retiring from the Army with the rank of Colonel, I joined Dental Care. I enjoy salt water fishing and tropical and marine fish. My wife and I live in Winston-Salem. |

| Philosophies of Care: Dr. Smith retired as a colonel and dentist from the U.S. Air Force in 2003 after 25 years of service before joining the dental practice at Winston-Salem Dental Care. He served in multiple capacities while in the Air Force ranging from General Dentist to Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Commander of a 30-bed hospital. He completed two residencies in general dentistry and was awarded two advanced degrees from the Academy of General Dentistry. He currently practices all aspects of General Dentistry with emphasis on state-of-the-art Cosmetic Dentistry to include crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers and Lumineers. |

| Philosophies of Care: Dr. Gravel joined Winston-Salem Dental Care (WSDC) in 1978 as a general dentist. Prior to joining WSDC, he served three years on active duty in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Colonel Gravel retired from the U.S. Army Dental Reserve after 35 years of service. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina State Dental Society and the Forsyth County Dental Society. He earned the Fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry and is pursuing the Mastership Award. He resides with his wife of 35 years in Lewisville, NC. They have two children; a daughter who graduated from North Carolina State University and a son who graduated from Johnson and Wales University and the Steinhardt School of Education at new York University. |

I am an Air Force Reserve Dental Officer and the Chief of Dental Services for the 315th Aerospace Medical Squadron. I am responsible for the dental health of the 2,400 members of the 315th Airlift Reserve Wing and I am a native of Sanford, North Carolina. I am married to Ashley M. Byrd, a Guidance Counselor at Jefferson Elementary School. We have two children. Elizabeth and Worth are both graduates of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where we have been involved in multiple church activities, and I have been actively involved in Boy Scouts. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and other outdoor activities. |

From June 2003 until September 2004 she established the Special Needs Dental Program at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Watkins was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa from August 1995 - June 2003. For over 20 years her dental practice and training have focused on geriatric dentistry. Dr. Watkins has authored numerous research articles related to oral health among older adults. She was recently recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. She is committed to improving the quality of oral health care for seniors and currently works as an oral health consultant for the Sjogren's Support Group of the Triad. |
